260 and full screen FLV's

Watching some videos yesterday on my new 260 and when I fullscreened them they seem to drop to about 2fps...
Using the 190.38 drivers, no remnants of the previous ATI drivers as far as I'm aware.

Am i right in assuming that this is a new card replacing an ATI so you have just installed the latest?, could try a previous set of drivers.

When removing and installing the ATI then nVidia drivers did you use any driver cleaner software?

yeah, some tool whose name I forget that was recommended on here for that specific purpose.

So are there some known older stable drivers?

Driver Sweeper and Driver Cleaner Pro (both available at Guru3D). In that situation I have always done a fresh install to be sure.

Might wanna try 186.18 drivers as well 190 series atm have a raft of issues.
