Using Vista 64 with the latest drivers, XFX 260 GTX.

When I first installed the drivers the clocks of the card were dropping right down when just in windows to something like 200mhz core / 100mhz memory. Then I downloaded nvidia's tools to enable overclocking and now even though I've left everything stock the clocks will no longer drop back down and the card stays at 621mhz/1000mhz all the time.

Is this a known bug with the OC utility? What are you guys using to overclock nVidia cards?

I've just had a look at task manager and can see 2 instances of Ati2evxx.exe running which must be left over from the ATI drivers. I've just gone from a 4850 to this card. Maybe this is causing problems as Company of Heroes keeps crashing aswell.

I'll see of they can be uninstalled in anyway.

I've heard driver cleaner can cause more problems that it solves and it isn't really needed.

Though in my case I think it's worth a shot as CoH has crashed 4 times now, each time saying something about drivers have recovered from an error.

Hope it helps or I'm looking at a reinstall of windows :(

EDIT - though strangely the card has started throttling in 2D mode again!
