would 260 gtx's in sli beat a single 5870 in BC2 ?

I just realised if i did this an an i7 build id need £150 instead of £330.

got corsair 850w non modular.

I don't know about BC2 - but GTX260 SLI will generally match or beat the 5870 in non DX11 games, except crysis. Its a bit of a dead end upgrade path now tho unless you don't plan on playing anything DX11.
 
If you currently have GTX260, it would be a bad idea to get another, as it's old tech now and a bad investment since you can already get single GPU cards that match them in SLi.

Personally, I'd plan on selling the 260 soon, but wait it out for the GTX480 and GTX470 which will be released soon. See how they compare to the HD 5800 series and decide then.

To steal a link from someone elses thread on here heh... GTX295 gives an indication of roughly where GTX260 SLI will fall. If you go to next page - if these results are accurate - its interesting because the GTX260 has massive overclocking headroom - it could catch up the stock 5850 - tho obviously the 5850 has some pretty decent OCing potential itself.
