2600 pro on a Biostar Tforce 6100

thinking of buying a Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO 512MB for my media pc
but im unsure if it will work on the mother board im using atm. its a Biostar Tforce 6100-939.

Why wouldn't it?

2600 is PCIe, and that board has a PCIe x16 slot, so surely you're good to go?

yeah i know that but some boards dont supports some gfx cards with out updated bios's

If not, take the card out, and use the onboard to flash the BIOS.

Then pop it back in!
