A few questions Pack :)

1. Is it safe to run my 2600k at a constant voltage? Or does it need to step down to idle volts for longevity?

2. I'm having a right ball ache with RAM over clocking.

Avexir 8Gb 1600Mhz kit so would expect it to at least get to 1866Mhz ( Reviewers have it actually going higher )

Any tips on RAM voltage and timings?

3. Max temp for a 2600k?

Cheers :)

yes its safe although you could use power saving without any instability

ram might need more cpu/vtt voltage and or dram voltage

max temp is uder 80c imo, although between 80-85c is acceptable

if you want it to stepdown set cpu v to normal, use high llc and use +0.020v for say 4.5ghz oc,set pci/cpu clock to 100

max safe cpu/vtt is 1.2v,you might need around 1.10-1.15v idk,can also use touch more system agent voltage, maybe one/two clicks

latest bios might help aswell

prime95 blend test tests the ram,but day to day usage is good also, just look out for the 124 bsod code
