2600K build upgrade or not bother?

Well, I am sort of happy, (ish) with my current rig (as in sig),...with the following recent upgrades:

16Gb RAM
1TB Samsung SSD Gaming drive
500 Gb Samsung Pro OS drive

This build is now around 4 or even 5 years old...but not sure anything out there will add significantly to my pleasure

I mainly game (The Division, WoT, - Steam stuff) and for this I think it will last a while yet.

Having said all that...I am out of the loop in terms of current gaming preferences and trends for longer term upgrade paths, so looking for advice & thoughts

I'm thinking of going 6800k (which will probably last another 6 years) from my 2600k, but other than that it's probably not worth it.

nope, 2600k is still plenty.

I am in a somewhat similar decision, 5 year old computer, still going strong, no reason to upgrade.

I am thinking that the Skylake-E generation due to release next year (or maybe 2018) might be the one worth upgrading to. Until then no point.
