Just a quick question- does anyone use SIV (Systems Information Viewer)? http://rh-software.com/

I find it very useful- I have overclocked my 2600K to a stable 4.5GHz at 1.32V in the bios and would like to see if I can take it a bit further, HOWEVER SIV reports the voltage on each core at 1.36V which is concerning me somewhat as I'm following intels advice on not taking it above 1.38V.

All other apps report (CPU-Z etc) report the core voltage as 1.32 so I am confused...

I'm not sure about SIV but I know that your core voltage may increase when at load depending on your LLC settings (I'm assuming your using a hard voltage instead of offset in this instance).

In any case, use Prime to stress test your cores and the latest version of CPU Z to assess core voltage.
