Hey guys,

Built my old man a rig a few months back with a 2600k and a gigabyte z68 motherboard. He's chuffed to bits and everything works brilliantly.

EXCEPT, when he puts the pc into sleep mode, it wont come round it requires a restart. It'll cold boot fine, restart from windows fine and its perfectly stable. Just the sleep mode issue.

The cpu has a modest 4ghz overclock on it, and I dont remember the settings i used. Pretty sure I just upped the multiplier.

I overclock a lot myself, but on the x58 platform so the sandybridge is all new to me and I cant for the life of me remember the full settings i used for the overclock.

I'm over visiting tomorrow and will have a quick look through the bios for him incase it is linked to the overclock.

Any ideas please?

Isn't PLL something to do with sleep mode? IF PLL is enabled/auto it can effect sleep, so try looking at that setting :)

Excellent, thank you. Just done a quick google and turning PLL to off instead of auto fixes the issue. Will try it tomorrow!
