2600k Overclocking question.

Hi guys, Ive had my 2600k for almost 3 years now and ive finally gotten round to replacing my thermal paste on the corsair h50 I have. Before that I could only get to 4.4 before BSOD and now I am currently running prime on 4.8.

According to core temps max temps are 65 degrees on full load with voltage set to 1.4.

My question is am I able to push it further? I dont really want to risk anything too major so just want to double check first!

Tjmax 100 degrees, throttling at 90 degrees so room if you want to go for more

You've hit the vcore limit, 1.4v is the max safe voltage without custom watercooling.

65c with 1.4v? Are you reading that right? I don't get temps that low on my Corsair H100 with the same Vcore and clock speed.

What's your ambient temperature?

Ah alright. Yes it is definitely correct, my room is absolutely freezing so it must be that.. no idea of my actual room temperature though!

worked 4.9 at 1.4 however 5 just wasnt happening, even when I bumped it to 1.45v it would stop at the windows logo
