Just built my mate a machine round a z68 ud4 and 2600k with 2x4gb 1600 Ram.

Wondering whats the highest volts temps and bit insted of searching loads of threads.

So please OCUK enlighten me :D

I'd try to keep temps (from coretemp) below 70 with prime95 and personally I wouldn't use more than 1.35v just to be extra safe. You could go up to around 1.4v though if you wanted.

1.35v should be enough for ~ 4.7 ghz depending on how good the chip is.

I'm stable with 1.25v 4.5ghz with my 2500k.

70c/1.35v is a little over-cautious.

I'd be getting edgy heading north of 80c/1.4v on air.

The 'recommended' limit is 1.425v (I think, it changes every week), while the TJMax is 98c, so you want to stay below those at all costs unless you have exotic cooling.
