I have found on a Very popular auction site SandyBridge 2600ks for £319.00. If thats not the uk price its a good base.

Sounds like £70 too much to me. Isn't the US price supposed to be $320 ish? Which is £206 ish + VAT @ 20% which is roughly £247 ish

Pretty sure that when it comes to pc parts $320 = £285 at least if not more. They just love to screw us over. Though the exchange rates arn't what they used to be so it might even be close to that anyway.

It has Hyperthreading. Depending on what use you will put it to, it will offer greater performance. Not much everyday use software is coded to take advantage of it though.

Sounds about right should be about £250....

But yeah we may see the price jacked up, hopefully with ocuk pre bundles they reduce the prices if brought in a package a bit...
