Hi,
Ive been reading up abou the 2600xt and have decided to buy one, but one bit issue i want to ask about is the sound rounting when using hdmi. I'm only going to be using HDMI with my TV, no monitor. I was wondering if i can get the sound from my sound card? (Doesn't the graphics card override the onboard sound?)
If it does is there a way to work around this as i still want HDMi and to use the optical out to my amp
cheers

Sure I read it allows full independant use of Your soundcard, The thing I did not get My head around was using regular DVI O/P, does it need a normal DVI-HDMI cable or a special DVI-HDMI adapter to carry what must be "unusualy wired DVI" to bring the sound out of the card
