260GTX Heat

Has anyone else noticed that the GTX260 slowly heats up if you keep the pc on long enough? it gets to around 46c in an hour...but then it slowly creeps up over the next 24hours...even if its not being pushed.
Case is well cooled and cpu stays under 40c.

46c... thats rather cool for a graphics card. Would hardly says thats hot and its bound to get a bit hotter if you leave it on for 24hours.

Thats quite cool compared to my GTX, yesturday noticed it was 74c!

Sounds good to me, remember ambient temps in the room affect case temps and thus your idles temps may fluctuate. Anyway 46c idle is a cool temp for a modern day gfx card.

That's cool, my 8800GTS 320MB which i have OC'd runs at 78 idle.

You must have one of the coolest 260's if its idling at 46c.

Anything below 50C at idle, for the GPU is pretty good.

My 280 idles at around 52C (crap case) and never goes above 78C under the heaviest load (Crysis). Unfortunately, when it is under load, it sounds like a hurricane.
