Hi all,

Just wanted to get some help and opinions on the best monitor to purchase based on the above requirements.

I've got a 1080 TI FTW3 and will be looking to upgrade from my current BenQ 24" 144Hz monitor.

Having had the taste of playing on a 144Hz monitor, I can't go back to anything lower.

Therefore, I'll need something that's:

1) 144 Hz & above
2) 27"
3) 1440p minimum
4) Ideally not curved
5) G Sync
6) Below $800 AUD preferably

A current shortlist of monitors I'm quite interested in:
- AOC AGON AG271QG
- ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q
- Viewsonic XG2703-GS
- Dell S2716DG
- Acer Predator XB271HU

Anyonr have any experience with the monitors listed above? Any other recommendations?

Cheers

ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q I've had this about 9 months not had any issues I do like it however
The menu can be fiddly which is annoying now and again.the colours look good (ips version I have) I'd say there is some backlight bleed slightly.

I'm debating a 4k screen now possibly.
I do like the no blur factor of the high refresh but I have noticed lately that I prefer 4k looks
For example on shooters I spot people better with a sharper picture if that make sense I didn't think that there would be much difference 1440 Vs 4k but to me it does look night and day

If I could afford 2x 2080ti and a 4k 120hz I'd be all over it like a cheap suit haha

I have the Acer. If you can get a good one with minimal blacklight bleed it's a cracking screen. 165hz overclock, great colours. The stand is kind of ugly but I have mine on a dual monitor arm.

is it worth to buy Viewsonic XG2703-GS? or is better to wait for new monitors with ips panel for next year; I don't know if the companys will releases new ips panels.

Are there any informations for new ips monitors for the next year;
