Hello all,
looking for some suggestions on a monitor upgrade. Currently using a DELL S2716DG 27" 1440p 144hz monitor. Perfectly happy with it but is looking a little tired. Also have the itch to upgrade to a monitor with HDR, but have read it doesn't translate that well on monitors? In terms of refresh rate 144 works for me. I play a broad spectrum of games from coop RPG/Sea of Thieves to Hell let loose. In terms of quality would want an upgrade, ideally size wise think 27" is fine as only running a 3080 at the moment. Would want a monitor with G-Sync but choice seems a little thin on the ground? most being G-Sync compatible?
Budget wise anything from £400-800, not sure on OLED. I'm sure some may argue screen burn isn't a thing but I do game a fair bit. I go to work and have a life but am often putting in a couple of hours an evening on it if not more and weekends hit up some big sessions. So worried about dumping a large budget on something that may end up getting screen burn. I don't really use my PC/Screen for work purely gaming/movies.
Any suggestions or advice appreciated
