27" Acer Predator Z271T 144Hz Curved NVIDIA G-SYNC, VA Monitor 1920x1080 4ms Tobii Eye-Tracking

This monitor is pretty reduced in retailers now, is it a good match for a 1070? I’m keen on having g sync IPS or VA around this size. I’m not fussed about a curve but I do like a pretty monitor. I actually prefer dell office style monitors to flashy gaming monitors like this too.
Are there any other options? Maybe at a higher resolution?

That was my thought, but trying to find the right 1440p monitor isn’t easy. And this 1080p seems we’ll priced now.
I’m worried I’d soon want a 1440 though, any recommendation?

What's your budget?

Something like the Viewsonic XG2703-GS maybe.

I just feel 1080p doesn't look too great on anything bigger than 24 inch.

I've not seen that monitor, looks pretty cool, very similar spec to the PG279Q and XB271HK.
All three sit around the 690 mark... not easy to choose between!

Edit: The Acer XB271HK is at 589.99 on OCUK right now...

1080p is a better res for a 1070 than 1440p. It sometimes struggles at 1440p.

Seriously? I'd say the 1070 is the perfect card for 1440p.

Mine handles everything I have tried at 3440x1440 without any problems.

1440p 60hz 1070 if fine but for higher refresh rates you have to lower the settings to high or medium depends on the title.
