Recently purchased a new build from OCUK, running NVidia.

I am looking at upgrading my monitor, the PC is mainly used for general day to day tasks, web browsing but nothing too strenuous while in the evening I use to play games.

I am looking for the best bang for buck on a 27’’ monitor (up to £250 price tag )

So much choice on https://www.overclockers.co.uk/monitors/by-size/27-68.58cm struggling what to pick?

I am not going to be doing any editing, Photoshop etc.

I am coming from an 24'' OLD, 6/7 year old Samsung 5ms TN panel.

What res are you looking for?

I like my Samsung 1440P, it looks lovely. But if you want a higher refresh, it's not the one to go for.

Crossover 2795QHD. 100hz, IPS and 1440p.

There are some risks but it's generally quite low.

monitors, does ya heed in trying to find the 1, 2160 1440 1080,gsync vsync freesync,tn ips va.....wtf
to test the water at 144hz + freesync i choose the aoc g2770pf for just under £250, and i love it, yes its only tn panel but the freesync or the 144hz not sure which 1 but it feels lush
highly recommend you try 1
