A complete plea for help here...
I have been reading (posted another thread) and the advice has been so very useful, but now I am stuck!!
The Question:
Does anyone know a PC monitor that would compare with the iMAC 27"?
The back Story:
I know I want a larger than27" monitor that will support 1440 res. I will be using it for photo editing and then gaming, so colour, contrast and brightness are critical for me.
And here is the crux. Monitors are very subjective and one person's perception of good colour and contrast rendition might not match anothers...so it is great to go and see for yourself...but who the hell stocks 1440 in stores these days!!Tried PC World...please!! Even went to London TCR, but they are now pushing TVs, even had one guy convinced that a 42" TV was the way for me to go...
So I thought about using a base line to see which monitor is best for me. Don't hate me, but the iMAC 27" monitor is fab for colour and contrast. Now I am hunting for a PC equivalent....tell me one exists...oh please tell me it does...do NOT want to go MAC!!
Here's hoping and thanks.
