Moving to Uni room soon from home, currently using a BenQ XL2410T and want to switch to a bigger monitor for multi purpose use. I really like the 120hz panel and fast response times of the TN panels but will be having to use my monitor for watching tv and movies not just gaming directly infront of it at a desk when I go so was looking at some different panels. Im very sensitive to input lag and ghosting and can notice a significant difference between 60 and 120hz so need something fast but would appreciate good viewing angles and image quality.

Want something 1080p and am using an R9 290x atm and play mostly twitch FPS games like CS GO and 1.6

Any other suggestions/thoughts

I've had terrible experience with Asus products so personally would stay away from them, fine if you get a good one off the bat then you should be fine but the RMA process is an absolute nightmare. Don't know much about that dell.

If you already had an XL2410T and are happy with that then the obvious choice is the XL2720Z. The blur reduction on it after using software is very very nice. Needs quite a bit of tweaking from factory settings to get a picture you are happy with. But doesn't take too long.
