~27″ monitor with a fold-up base stand

Hello, feeling a little guilty to ask a question as I've just made this account, but I’ve struggled with this question for a while now and will need to make a decision shortly.

I usually use an iMac at home so I’ve had no need for a separate monitor, but am now looking for one to connect up with my work laptop (a Windows laptop) to improve productivity while working from home. I don’t have a lot of space on my desk and it won’t be every single day that I’ll need to set it up, but it will have to be something that I only put up when needed. I don’t mind plugging in the power and a USB.

Issue is finding a ~27″ monitor where its stand can hopefully be folded up with the monitor (or easily removed) like a big fat book and slip in an oversized bookshelf when not in use. The display bases of the monitors I see are all one big moulded piece. Anyone here have come across a display where the base stand could be folded (or very easily removed and being not very big)? It will need to be a base which I can place on a flat surface (i.e. not those clamps which screw onto the side of a desk). On Amazon I’ve seen a couple of third party bases being sold (without monitor) which are foldable, but they look short and not that sturdy.

Given my inability of finding any appropriate computer monitor with such a folding stand feature, I’m very likely limited to the “portable” monitors which ASUS (MB168, etc.), Lenovo (ThinkVision M14) and a few other brands sell. Unfortunately they’re much smaller (14-15″ and Lenovo’s is native USB-C only which not all laptops I have access to have). I don’t mind plugging in a power cable since I’ll most likely only use it at home. Ideally 24-27″ would be a better size. Given the rarity of this, I don’t mind the precise monitor spec (1080p would be a minimum of what I’d be expecting in this day and age).

Thanks in advance!
