27" Suspended over air

I really want to get another 27" monitor and the only problem i have is im using a desk that i have to share with my brother, I want to get dual stand and have the second screen suspended in the air off the side of the desk, The stand cannot be clamp either as my desk has a flat back with no pole to support itself on so it as to be a stand, Thanks

i guess im other words im after a 27" Dual monitor stand that has a base rather than is clamped

or just get a duel monitor stand plenty about and not all are screwed to desk
