27" to 3 screen 24"

Would it be worth it, currently using a hans G widescreen 27" and another generic 27" screen and thinking of going down to a smaller 3 screen 24" displays.
I am worried that after the larger size going down to 24" would be step back.

Any ideas ?

it depends on why you are wanting to move away from 2 x 27" .... I have 3 x 24" screens and find I have ample desktop space, when I had 2 screens before it never quite felt right so I knocked up a 3 screen setup with the screens the kids had and gave them mine I then realised I did like the idea of a centre screen and 2 side screens so got 3 new ones from OCUK at the same time so they were as all close to being identical as possible and have loved them ever since and while the novelty of wide desktops is nice to have triple screen game play is really good and makes you grin a lot I also picked up an XFX triple monitor stand and while its very good and has loads of adjustment on it it's WAY WAY over priced which is a shame really.

What do you use your PC for mainly ?
