£270 spec check - Mobo,ram,cpu

Hey,

Got £270 to play with for the following :

CPU
RAM
MOBO

Currently got :
AMD 64 3000
1GB CRUCIAL
ASROCK 939 DUAL MOBO
7600GT

Will I notice a big increase in perforance with the cheaper c2d's ?

I would go for this as this ram has reports of clocking to 1ghz and above, also the motherboard is the revision of the ds3.
