hi

when I try the asrock pre set 4.6ghz overclock, when I put it under full load the vcore goes to 1.320v which is fine but when the cpu goes under a lite load (18% cpu usage) the vcore goes to 1.380v~ which isn't good.

so I tried manually setting the 4.6ghz, with:

multiplier at 46
turbo power limits 200, 200
additional turbo voltage auto
CPU PLL Voltage 1.750v
vcore mode to auto
LLC level to 3.

when I put it under full load the vcore goes to 1.304v which is fine but when the cpu goes under a lite load the vcore goes to 1.260v~, but the clock speed goes to 4.6ghz still.

why when it's under full load the vcore goes to 1.304v or 1.320v but when it's under a lite load the vcore goes to 1.260v or 1.380v?

I want the vcore to be at 1.304 or 1.320 under full load and lite load.

is it safe to use is additional turbo voltage setting? and is this ok / safe settings?

multiplier at 46
turbo power limits 200, 200
additional turbo voltage +0.031
CPU PLL Voltage 1.750v
vcore mode to auto
LLC level to 3.

when I put it under full load the vcore goes to 1.312v and when the cpu goes under a lite load the vcore goes to 1.320v~, 0.960v idle.

or is this better.

multiplier at 46
turbo power limits 200, 200
additional turbo voltage auto
CPU PLL Voltage 1.750v
vcore mode to +0.035
LLC level to 4.

when I put it under full load the vcore goes to 1.320v and when the cpu goes under a lite load the vcore goes to 1.288v~, 1.00v idle.

Both options are fine to be honest. I take it your stable on both?????

Normally you would set manual Vcore and 1.34v with high LLC to get around 1.32v under high loads. This is acceptable too.

yeah, for 4.6ghz my chip needs 1.31v~ even tho the cpu vid is 1.35v for 4.6ghz.

do you mean fixed voltage mode? if I use that the vcore won't drop down at idle...

also what's the highest LLC level that can be used for 24/7 use?

level 1 is the highest
level 2
level 3
level 4
level 5 is the lowest
