Is this ram ok for a Ryzen 2700x setup? Looking to plug into a Strix x470 mobo.

If it's not the best option (I need 16gig) then what's a good alternative? will 3600 RAM work on the new x470 mobo's using XMP? Or will there be a bit of fiddling required?

Also do the matured BIOS's make plugging in higher than 3200 RAM, easier or is there still a limit to the memory speeds that Ryzen can play with nicely without too much faffing about?

Post operation meds making me a bit fuzzy and I've a build to price up for a customer, so need a few questions answered. Cheers.

Doubt it will run rated speed 100% stable from what I've seen. 3200 c14 is more realistic. If the price is good it's wise to buy faster ram though, just have to be prepared to enter in manual settings.

So far testing 3466hz on Aorus Ultra , grabbed the 4000hz kit , believe it is £199

Down side, they are tall and can't be shortened like the above

Aye grab the latest one at 3866 and give it a try first to see if it works.

My Ripjaws V worked fine at 3600C16 with the CH6 and 1800X
