2700X hitting 100c+

So my brand new 2700x which arrived today along with a brand new kraken x62, at default settings is at 50c in the bios, booting into Windows and it's over 100c.

No idea what is going on here double and triple checked everything, can't seem to find out why it's that high.

Motherboard is the Asus TUF 470, it has an aio header and a CPU header which do I connect the kraken x62 with. Manual says CPU, motherboard manual says aio header.

EDIT: just swapped things about still at 100c

Just taken the kraken x62 off and redid thermal compound and replaced it, still showing 100c in Windows.

Just installed Ryzen master and it's showing 30c idle, also checked hwinfo and it's the same phew.

So basically ignore CAM software it sucks

Bios usually puts load on the CPU so it's not idle
