Weird comparison but had a 3100 in my x570 board waiting for a deal on the 5000 series... But obviously isn't happening any time soon so seen a 2700x for £120, is this going to be better do you think for gaming?
 
Cool, well hopefully stops stuttering on a few games too... Was playing godfall on the 3100 with a 1660 super and 16gb and fps was good, just stuttering when big explosions etc
 
I ended up buying and it came today... Can definitely say its worth the change from the 3100 to the 2700x, for £120 anyway - in fortnight the a 10-20fps gain on 1080p Epic and absolutely no stutter where as the 3100 was stuttering loads for the first couple of mins.

Hapy anyway and will just build another pc with the 3100, a good excuse to build one :D
