27inch 1440 monitor recommendations

Looking for a a 1440 gaming monitor been looking at gigabytes one and asus. I'm looking for the best one that will give me good fps etc. Will be played in a dark room.

Recommendations please and reason?

Just got gigabyte ad27qd
Which is basically the newer Fi27q just with 144hz instead of 166hz
Really pleased with it

Reason, great build quality, solid metal stand, plenty up, down, tilt, turn etc options
Great picture, can use software to alter it instead of buttons /joystick on the monitor
Don't know why they all don't do that, the joystick on this is fine, some with the buttons are a pita to adjust stuff

That's down to what gpu you have
Will need a half decent gpu if go for a 100+hz monitor at 1440p

IPS isn't good for darkened room, unless games have only lighter shades in their colour palettes.
Contrast just isn't enough and non-ATW IPSes have further isusses.

So I have heard
Though none of the games I have tried since getting my monitor have been in
Gloomy/dark/night time games
So can't say so from personal experience
