Hi all,

Just noticed that one of my regular sites which I visit have closed :(

28dayslater - The UK UE Urbex Urban Exploration Forums - RIP - The Archive said:
The end of an era, or the beginning of a new one? For now the forums are closed. They might return, they might not. It all depends whether I feel like it in the future. But by then no doubt time will have passed us by, and you'll find somewhere else. Most of you have a second home anyway. Why? Forums are wrecking UE. Too much politics, abuse, opinions and bull****. Sod that. It was supposed to be a friendly thing and it's clearly not. I'll keep on exploring. Most people I know will. But the great places I go will just be for my eyes only and that's probably the best way. No hordes of people following, no danger of places getting locked down. So, in the last couple of years, I hope we've opened your eyes to the unseen. Some of you have been converted, some of you hate us. Regardless, we've had an impact and I hope you'll remember us.

Take care and farewell.

Chris aka Oxygen Thief.

Whilst I never actually went UE, I used to like reading up on new finds and the older ones as well (Which are still up, but it isn't the same :( )

Are there any other websites which are like this? :)

NOOO :( :(

Sooooo much interesting stuff on there to view... arghhh

Nah, I couldn't even log in :(

I'm guessing that chavs visit the website too often and end up going chav-urbexing.. which consists of ruining the place :(

The forum owner must also get a hell of a lot of flak from news sites etc.

EDIT - Just tried logging in... no worky worky :(

That did seem to happen a lot :(

Shame I don't "do" UE otherwise I would set up a new forum :p lol

Anyone else confused on what this is about?

Yup..

NGT Pyestock.. perfect example of chav damage, due to them security increased aswell,

I myself like you don't " do " ue, but was thinking of doing it in the future, for some reason I find old buildings and places where you generally shouldn't be ( causing no damage ) very very interesting :o

However, I'm sure a new forum will appear :)

Meh, I did run a search! I don't go into P&V forum either :p

Yup..

So do I, we was planning a meet in Leicester a few days before this :(

How did I not hear about this site before?

I always wanted to explore abandoned places but all my friends chicken out at the last second, and the amount of shoots in Sheffield on there is brilliant :o

i used to vist that site/forum quite often as it was always interesting reading the posts and photos to go with them.

Although i was not a member nor did i do Urban Exploring, it was still a very good site to visit.
