280 Bottleneck?

think you might get lower minimum FPS due to processor lagging here and there. but it would still be worth it i think..

going from a 4400 to Q6600 there was a 10 fps or so improvement and it felt much smoother as it didnt go below 50 ever again

so it will slow it down to an exent, whether you will buy a new setup is up to you.. should really run all games fine apart from CPU demanding ones
