2800 Sempron > 3200 Venice, what sort of improvement?

Thinking of upgrading from a 2800 sempron to a 3200 Venice, what sort of performance increase can i expect, if any? I mostly play CSS and BF2, other than that the odd racing game, Live for Speed in particular (which is supposedly very CPU heavy).

What sort of performance improvement can i expect?

Specs will probably be:

3200 Venice
The Asrock mobo thats AGP and PCI-E
1GB GeIL Value 3200
AGP 6800 @ 350/700@16/6
80GB Maxtor SATA

I would have thought you'd see a sizable performance boost, especially when gaming

I went from a P4 2.8GHz to a 2GHz Opteron and I noticed a huge boost in performance

If you haven't bought the hard drive go for Seagate or Western Digital

Ive got the all of the gear bar the mobo and CPU. Basically my Skt A motherboards faulted and i fancy an upgrade.

I wanted a Seagate drive, but my local shop didnt stock them below a size of 200GB
