Ok people. Got my xfx 280gtx in with a EK full cover block and put ram sinks on the back over the RAM. Card is at stock clocks and wll play NFS and Red alert etc... fine.
Try playing GRID and it lets you play for about 2 min before artifacting. So you would think over heating? Yet temps hit 47C max and Enzo blocks on RAM are only warm not that hot. Even if you underclock it by a huge amount, same thing. Tryed different drivers with no luck. Is it a heat issue do you think? GRID used to play fine with my 8800GTX in there.
When i got the waterblock it came with those thicker thermal pads but as normal I left in box and just used thermal paste as block seemed to touch them. Could this be the problem? Is it a overheating problem? I think so just seems werid will play other games and fold happily.
