280gtx vs r9 280

my friend bought 2x 280gtx off me a while back, then he was going to buy 2x 570gtxs off me.

I believe these are around 30% faster than 2x 280gtx
now hes interested in my r9 280X

how much faster is a r9 280x vs 2x 570s or 2x 280gtxs?

Surprisingly it is quite hard to find a comparison between R280X and 570

But well here goes nothing, according to these:

R280X is faster than 7970 GHZ edition, and 570 is roughly 50% +/- it's performance, so R280x would be either equal to 570SLI or slightly faster, also when you take SLI scaling in various games etc. R280X would overall probably prove to be a faster card. No idea by what margin though.

Nothing concrete though, just basing this off few reviews.
