I have done a fresh install of windows.

If I play a game crash, if I mine crash.

Its not temps as they are only hitting 70 max (thats if its not crashed).

I have tried the betas, latest 13.12s.

I have no idea what to try next.

And I have not clocked the cards.

Having the exact same thing, not the msi 7970's on offer the other day? Sent one back today, now the other one doing it. FS. Tried win7 / 8.

I get artifacts too. Driver crashes are hit and miss.

There's another user on here who bought the same card and has the same issue. Could be a bad batch?

So is it RMA or DSR either way its going to be a waiting time.

OCUK said to be that mining isn't considered a fault, as it's not the sole purpose of the card.

However, I'm getting artifacts in BF4, so it is considered to be faulty. I'm happy with that as I didn't buy it just for mining, mining is just an added bonus.

But yes, hopefully as it's less than 28days my replacement card will just be sent from OCUK's stock.

I am getting a few glitches in Heaven 4. dont recall seeing artifacts in BF4. Sometimes the driver will crash as soon as it loads other times after a couple of mins.

Will need to try another game.

Mining is just a bonus for when I am at work or asleep.

Grab MSI afterburner and up the volts slightly and see if it still crashes. You should only need to go 0.10mV at most to see if this cures it.

Or add +20 to the power limit and see if that cures it. My 6970 would constantly crash unless I added the +20 to the power limit.

This...
Driver stopped Responding, from my experiance is not enough Voltage.

I hope this works. I had to send me first one back due to a faulty fan, now I have 2 artifacting and crashing the AMD driver.
