280x not flickering

I've recently had to RMA my r9 280x because of flickering/artifact issues. Ive read through loads of posts about people having the same problem but I wanted to know if anyone hasn't had any problems with their 280x or any 200 series in general or do they all have these problems?

im on my second 280x as the first was artifacting this one seems fine so far though.

Thats great! there is hope then :L wasn't sure if AMD's drivers were a bit buggy, think its a mixture of that and bad manufacturing on the new cards

I've got a Gigabyte 280x and haven't experienced any problems with performance.
I've questioned the temperature of it before getting fairly hot, and I'm sure the card has started to sag a little though.

My first MSI r9 280x had a faulty fan and artifacts. RAM'd it.

Second card is my current one and its a Gigabyte. Had flickering problems on 2d mode (was driver issues), fans starts making a noise and vibrating when at 80-100%. Can only run metro last light on low settings @ 20-23fps and just tonight I got artifacts while playing Car Mechanic Simulator 2014.

On my second Gigabyte r9 280x and again experiencing artifacts and flickering. It seems to occur more often in some scenarios and wondering if there is an actual fix for it because underclocking and/or increasing the voltage shouldn't be required on my part to get the card working out of the box. Read that MSI released an updated Bios to fix the issue with their cards, but can't see anything from Gigabyte. If there is a fix out there someone can point me to, then that would be appreciated because going through the hassle of an RMA for the second time is something I'd like to avoid to be honest.

Nothing official, just posts I've seen on other forums regarding the issue.

It's more to do with overheating of the vrm's I believe, the latest bios fixes this issue
