Hi guys

In the past i've never increased the voltage when OC'ing any graphics card i've had but i now have an HIS 280X iPower IceQ X2 Boost and the cooler is really good so i'd like to bush the volts a bit. At the moment i'm struggling consistent voltage readings and i dont know why. Last night no matter what i set the voltage to in MSI Afterburner it would report the voltage as 1.256, as would HWMonitor. This morning though, having changed no settings, if i change the voltage in Afterburner it will then report that voltage accurately when i run a benchmark. HWMonitor on the other hand will now only report the voltage as 1.200! And for what its worth GPU-Z only ever reports the voltage as being 1.179 or something.

Basically, I have no idea what voltage is going through my card regardless of what i set it to. As such, i have no idea if my card is voltage locked or not. If anyone could help me out i'd really appreciate it.

Thanks

Yeah I had the HIS IceQ X2 they seem to have a lot of vdroop while under load, there is not much you can do about it. I ended up flashing my card to mod the bios.
