Trying do some benching on my dual 280X's, however when i try to do any form of overclocking above about 1110 on the core and my score actually starts going DOWN. Been running it with aida64, rivatuner and Tomb Raider to benchmark them.

Running at 1110 core @ 1.2v and 1575 on the memory it gets about 100FPS average, when put up to 1150 @1.21 with the same memory clock as before i get about 85FPS average. Gave it some more voltage and put it up to 1.22v, it still produces score of around 85.

Am i doing something wrong? Aida64 shows the cards never throttle and neither card exceeds 70C on the core or VRMs.

A higher core clock will push the memory harder, sounds like error correction.

My first rule of overclocking gpu's : - Find your max stable core , then and ONLY then up the memory.

Just tried what you suggested and put memory back down to stock clock 1500, it is still only benching at ~85FPS.
