280X question :)

Hi. Abit of help needed. Just ordered this card (gigabyte windforce 280x)

Ive also ordered 2 of these: (BenQ GL2460 Widescreen LED monitors)

Now can someone please confirm i will be able to run the monitors off the graphics cards connectors. Abit confusing :S

You'll need one of these, considering that monitor only has DVI and old school VGA.

You'll be fine. You've got a DVI and a HDMI which will be fine but you will need a hdmi to a dvi adapter (should come with the card) as the monitors only have a 1x Analogue and 1x DVI-d.

Looking at the card specs it has one DVI, Two Display ports and one HDMI port.

One monitor can connect via the DVI and the second can be connected via the HDMI port with a DVI - HDMI cable;

From my experience, most card manufacturers only come with DVI > VGA adapters with the exception of MSI and Sapphire. Those two tend to at least give one, or two DP adapters.

Standard VGA/DVI and power cables. You could always call them to confirm the adapter you'll get?

Because they're on the cheaper end of the market and have VGA, i would put a few quid on there only being VGA inside the box.

They're basically 7970s, so yeah 1 dvi, 2dp and 1 hdmi.
The R9 290X has 2 DVI, 1 DP and 1 HDMI.

It's as per the images, we get specs from AMD, then images later. Seems Gigabyte and HIS changed the outputs, shall get descriptions updated tomorrow to match images which are correct.
