29" Monitor - any good ?

I'm looking for a new monitor to go with my new build that im planning.

I'm currently running 2 x 24" BenQ (XL2410t) main reason I bought them was for 120hz and had a bit of play with some 3d gaming ( didn't like it that much though )

I've never had an IPS panel, and 1920 x 1080 has been max res I have ever used.

Will I see a big difference going to something like this ?

I tried a few Widescreen 29" and could not get use to them when gaming as you lost your upper view but if not for gaming it would be a great monitor

What do you mean 'lost your upper view'? The vertical FOV is exactly the same as a 16:9 or 16:10 monitor on most games. If you mean you found the physical size too much of a loss (coming from a screen larger than 23") then fair enough.
