290 power query.

Have just purchased and nice shiny 290 msi for a new system but im not 100% sure how to power it.
I have a corsair rm650 to power it which has a single cable with 2 (6+2) PCIe connectors on the end.
I'm not sure if this single cable will be able to deliver enough power or if I need to connect a second to the psu.

It has actually been working with one but I've been having random crashes so that may be why. Thanks for the help.

Totally possible, tried to use as little as possible to keep the case tidy lol.
Rookie mistake!

In that case I'm hoping it's a dodgy windows install and not the card.
