2900 pro but 3d doesn't launch?

Hi every one just bought a 2900 pro and wanted to see what 3d6 would give at stock. Came across a strange problem, 3d6 won't launch. In fact, none of the 3Dmark programmes launch. The start screen comes up but hangs?

Any ideas?

If not, then there is a work around which basically involves renaming a certain DLL but I don't know the specifics. (Your not alone in this problem). Sure someone else on here can provide the info or link to a patch for you

Thanks, downloaded the patch from Futuremark and it is working now.

I am having a fun old time trying to see how far this baby will go now - posting in the 2900 pro overclocking thread.

Good to hear

Decent o/c on your cpu, so you should get a pretty good score. Quad cores artificially inflate the 3dmark06 scores, so don't worry if your not getting 13k like some people report with quads. Most games don't take advantage of 2 cores that well, let alone 4 (at the moment).
