got my card today i have a hiper 580r psu and only one 6 pin connector , i put that into the 6 pin connector and card wouldnt boot , so i took it out of there and put it in the 8 pin socket , card runs fine i had crysis on but fan never sped up is this normal?
 
not sure i have had major problem with bt internet today , only connects sometimes for a few mins then loose broadband connection , phone crackly as heel , so cant game long enough to get card going!
 
You need 2x 6x Pins plugged in, or 1x 6x Pin + 1 8x Pin, fan probably never sped up as its not getting enough power as you only have 1x 6 Pin plugged in, im surprised it booted tbh.
