2900 to 4850

I have the 4850 but had the 2900 before hand and was wondering, actually how much faster is the 4850 than the 2900 ?

It's just under double the performance.

I say that since the 4850 compares fairly closely to the 3870X2 which in turn was essentially identical to the perfomance of crossfired 2900XT's.

If I was on a 2900 and had the money to go for a 4850 then I would definitely do it

well i did have 2 x 4850's in crossfire but 1 died so i had to change it this question is mainly for my cousin whom im helping upgrade his comp
