2900GT worth it?

I would appear to have missed out on some of the better bargains in the OcUK Sale but I'm still tempted to buy a cheap new graphics card but not 100% sure which one to buy.
Currently got a 7600GS which was meant to be a stop-gap until I bought an 8800GT but will be a while before I can afford one :(

So... looking at what's available, there's 256MB 2900GT's and a 512MB 7950GT for the same price (~£68inc) - which would be the better one to go for?
 
Ended up ordering the X1950XT but regret it now after looking at OcUK's price update - X1950pro for £35inc VAT :(
Could've also got a BFG 8800GTS OC2 320MB for 20 quid more than I've paid, or 2*7800GT's for ~£47!

why not cancel the order and get something else? (i advise against the 2 7800GT cards though. THose are ancient

It's been sent out already by the looks of things - no longer listed in Outstanding Orders. Oh well, it'll still be a fair increase over what I've currently got.
 
*slaps self in face* *jaw drops* those prices are amazing. lol it kinda makes me regret buying that 256mb x1950gt for £55 last month.
 
Well it looks like my bro's order didn't go through as planned. He paid for it around 8pm last night and got the confirmation email but the stock status never changed from 1 to 'out of stock'. He checked the status this morning and it said warehouse queue or something similar. Anyway come 2pm the status was the same so i got him to phone up and my suspicions were correct, in that there was a database error. Thus he's missed out on this bargain :( There isn't anything similar, performance wise, in the same price bracket.

Come on OCUK sort this out! you would have thought that your real time stock levels would be working properly. yes it was only a £45 order but it doesn't help your reputation.
