2900XT & Cursor graphics curruption

As title

Is anyone else getting this still. Its like a black fuzzy box.

I have done a screen print and it is not shown in it. So is it the card or the monitors, as it happens on both my Dell 2407 and VX 912. I have only ever seen it in windows and never in any games.

Try the new 7.6 drivers. Sorted out pretty much every problem for me.

which OS are you using? Do you have custom cursors?

I am using Vista Ultimate 64.

i will try another cursor.

Ah! More trouble for the X2900XT, poor AMD lol. The solution would be to somehow swap it for a 8800 series, all problems fixed.

I'd also file the problem with the ATI CCC team here with a link in no 13 box to an uploaded photo of the problem, if that is possible.

Could well be a Vista issue as I have it in Vista 32bit as well.

I have Vista 32 bit, and I haven't had any problems yet.
The more feedback ATI get, the better they can make their drivers, stands to sense really.

Are the people getting the corruption changing their cursors?

What resolution, depth setting and refresh rate are said people using?

Are said people installing on top of previous drivers or doing an uninstall-reinstall?

Im using Vista 64bit and have not changed the cursor.

Running 2 19" crt's, both at 1280x1024 with 85hz refresh and 32bit colours.

To update drivers, I use ati uninstall, then uninstall the driver using device manager, then reboot and run driver cleaner, then reboot and install new drivers !

I cant upload a pic, unless I use a camera. As a screen print, does not show the problem.

Thats why its so strange.

Submit 'em to ATI, a few similar reports in a short space of time will get them wondering!

It is a very strange problem, though.
