:D Classic, im in tears almost.

Good for you, last post here as ignoring facts are what some of you like to do the most,
2900XT produces more heat and uses more power, fan is louder, game has less performance with AA enabled, just face it, this card is a failure. It's hard for fanboys to accept but just take it like a man, the 2900 doesn't perform and drivers won't sort the AA.

Can we continue with the swap then please? I am been serious, my EVGA ACS3 KO 8800GTS 640mb @ 2.2ghz/650 is ready to be shipped, I will ship anyday when you are ready, I miss ATi, I had a piece of NV, I want a piece of ATi now. Even if the 2900 is worse, I still want to try it to experience what its all about tbh.

Well seeing as you're a source engine expert (clueless 15 year old) how about you go to amd and tell them how to improve their drivers. Im sure they'll take you seriously for maybe .5 of a second before collapsing in hysterics.

Will tbh i wouldn't bother, with the way this guys getting on here id be very suprised if the deal went well. Sell it on Members market and add the difference to buy the ocuk branded card.

I concur.

I could sell my 8800 and buy a HD2900XT, but I cant afford to wait and all the maths is confusing me (Sorry, if you all met me, you would know, I am the worst person you would ever know at maths).

I could sell my 8800 on the MM or the Bay for £250, 230 I rekon on MM, then buy the OcUK brand 2900, but I would have to put the 300 quid I have now in the bank then spend that on the 2900 and put the 8800 up for sale, see how much effort it is compared to a straight swap?

Champ aint that bad man, Its just these forums, think of it as the big brother house, lots of arguments happen in the forum, just like the BB house, he is fine outside of the forums on MSN tbh.

LIES. Will you really should always be cautious even if someone seems "ok" over the web. Most of the reg's in here I trust fully. But him no no.

Play with fire and you'll get burnt. You cant go by impressions of someone you have spoke to for a few days over the net, you really can't

True but hotter cards usually overclock better on more efficient cooling

and uses more power
Marginally, the difference is so little its a joke its used as a argument at all

16w or 61w which equates to £0.072 or £3.60 p month
Some people here really need a reality check now and again tbh

fan is louder,
Very true, but if you plan on really overclocking you would be using water anyway

game has less performance with AA enabled,
Plain wrong, proven countless times it is on the par/faster than a GTS in the majority of cases

As said in the other thread
If you are/plan on using vista get the 2900, if you are using XP then a 640GTS.

You really seem to have a strange ability to ignore anything that doesnt support your argument to be honest

Probably because he registered not long ago and he has a low post count. While this obviously doesn't mean a GREAT deal, there would be less risk of dealing with someone who has been here longer. If you do go through with it and something does go wrong, don't say we didn't warn you. :)
