rippling said:so what have ati done wrong with the new card , my god we waited long enough for it!![]()
or is it the case of crap drivers AGAIN ? or is the card just crap?

The 2900XT has really inconsistent performance at the moment, probably due to drivers, and it seems that the horrendous image quality issues are "working as intended" because AMD/ATI designed the card with future shading etc. in mind. At least that's what I get from recent press release statement by AMD.
Depends on if Crysis uses shader-based antialiasing, and I've not heard anything to support that myself, but in current games it definitely means that the antialiasing and anisotropic filtering are dire.rippling said:lol how the hell can ati state that the card crap images are suppose to be like that , so does this mean the ati will run crysis great but every other game ****? lol
Aye the 8800GTS 640MB is my first Nvidia graphics card since the 6800 Series, and I'm still blown away even though I've had it since early February. I can't wait to see what G90 brings to the table now as it can only get better.Rivey said:I've been with ATi ever since the 9800 era, and I bought my first nVidia card last week (8800GTS 640mb).... can't say I've regretted it one bit!![]()
