2900xt upgrade quickie

Hopefully a nice quick one.

If i was to upgrade to a 2900xt, would my cpu and psu (as sig) be upto the job?

Just was not sure if cpu was upto pushing it and the psu had all the connections that i needed.

Hmm, not so sure on the 600w Seasonic connections but its still sold at ocuk so take a look.

Why on earth would he want to change a perfectly good psu for another at only a small wattage higher?

The Silverstone will be fine - enjoy the 2900xt.

Ok the Corsair PSU is good but no that good that you change a Seasonic PSU. Corsair/Seasonic pretty much the same.

cpu might hold you back in some games. I had an x24400 and it slowed down horribly in cpu intensive moments like in towns in oblivion and 10 car races in dirt. Not to mention my 3dmark score shot up by nearly 4000 points.

Thanks guys for the advice. Just a little lazy with the psu as i could take side off the case and look, will need to check to see what the 2900xt needs, pretty sure its 2 connections, a 6 and a 4 it think.
The cpu, if its not going to completly stuff me up with the 2900 will have to wait, there is no way that i could afford (or be allowed) to change everything else

. Aslong as it not a waste of cash getting a 2900xt with my current setup thats cool. Means that the rest will be the next upgrade !!
