290x cat 14.4 second display not detected...?

So got an MSI 290X delivered today, plugged it in, bashed the drivers on (14.4) but one of the two is causing my second screen to be completely ignored??

Any ideas? I read a few posts via google for people suggesting it was the 14.x drivers (since 14.1), but no resolution yet? Really?

Definitely the 14.x drivers, just took it back to 13.11 with no issues, installed 14.6 Beta on top and the monitor didn't even come back on again during the driver installation.

not very good if it has existed since 14.1!

(PS I have primary monitor at 2560x1440 and secondary at 1920x1200, which is the one not working)

Anyone else had this issue? Know of a fix? I've logged to to AMD via the report a bug page, but surely it must have happened to more than just me lol

Iv had issues since installing the card yesterday 290x on 14.4. i have to boot twice, as everytime i turn on the PC after any length of time all the screen seems at lower resolution, icons are bigger, web pages type larger.

When i watch youtube and switch the third screen of the eyefinity set up on or off depending if i need three screens running for one thing, this causes everything to go black, and kinda re set itself, sometimes it will also switch off and re start te pc, sometimes it will go blue screen with error 0xa0000001

Also as the PC starts up i get the bios page before windows kicks in on two screens, rather than one as with nvidia, whilst the other has no signal at all? dont know if thats an issue in itself, just strange coming from surround.

Im trying to put it down to teething troubles, but as far as i can see everything is set up right
