Hi all!

I'm over clocking my 290x crossfire set up and I have a few issues I am needing help with.

I have my cards set to +69mv
+50% limit
1150/1610

First problem is when ever I up the MV setting I lose performance... Why?
Second is that my GPU 1 clock is fluctuating even though I have done the power play support fix.

I am using fire strike to test I had a score of 16750 with 1145 1450. Now even with clocks increased I can't get over 16400 is it just partly luck with the fluctuation of scores?

Thanks in advance

What is this powerplay support fix you speak of?

All you need to do is copy these settings in afterburner and things will work ok. :)

Disabling without power play support , it puts clocks right up and holds them there but even with that it still drops??? And idea why I can't put voltage higher than +69??? Performance drops by quite a bit if I go higher

Stop using that, copy my settings above.

Ok scratch that LtMatt im into the 17k's now! Any way I can incrase voltage from above +100mV as im only hitting 73 degrees so i think i can push it further?

I've had the same issue dating back to using my 6950, only why to fix my low cpu scores was to do as you say and lock the clocks, how a gpu can affect a cpu test i have no idea but it does.

happens in 3dmark 11 and 13.

Even the powerplay fix doesn't sort it out in 3dmark 11.

Im getting really confused here?

When am I supposed to stop clocking....

Because when i higher my clock I can get lower scores and less performance?

Are my GPUS thottling? I cant see any signs if they are? How do I know when i have the perfect clocks or not?

Matt u think its essential to have Enable Unified GPU usage monitoring enabled? I have never seen this frame rate drop ever till Friday with LN2 Bios but experienced with new driver.

It is if you like accurate gpu usage readings while gaming/benching. The default method is very inconsistent and gpu usage jumps around all over the place. A driver issue according to unwinder. Not sure if it will get you any extra fps, but worth trying i guess.
